The Syranis Foundation Clinic is Freedom Falls' sole provider of medical care, located near the Valarmi district. Their focus is primarily on emergency care, and in-patient care is limited.

== History ==
The clinic in its current incarnation is a recent project by Matriarch Syranis. The building completed construction in 2185, replacing the small, aging clinic that had provided emergency care for the town's inhabitants for many years. Its operation is funded almost entirely by the Foundation, with equipment provided by the Matriarch's off-world corporate contacts, and the services the clinic provides are seen by Syranis as a vital element to not only the stability and prosperity of Freedom Falls, but also the loyalty of its inhabitants to the Matriarch. Because of this, Foundation funding ensures that while the medical care provided is far from equivalent to that seen in Council Space, it is well above Aite's standard.

== Description ==
Freedom Falls' clinic is a relatively small three-story buidling located on the outskirts of the city. The square building encloses a sheltered courtyard with a few small trees, benches and a fountain, intended to provide a locale for relaxation for staff, visitors and the clinic's few in-patients. A small parking space lies between the new building and the old clinic to the north, providing space for the hospital shuttle as well as other vehicles. To the east, a steep, but negotiable slope leads down to a patch of peaceful, undisturbed woodland that lies between the clinic and the [[Epimedes River]]. To the west and south lie one of the older residential districts of Freedom Falls.

The first floor of the clinic is taken up largely by the main lobby, the cafeteria and several storage rooms. It also houses the security office and the VI mainframe. The second floor houses the operating rooms as well as medical scanners and other specialized equipment. The third floor houses patient recovery rooms and staff offices.
