Farik Oritern is the CEO of a security consultancy working in and around Nos Astra on Illium. He has not been seen much in recent months in public without a clear business purpose, which could have something to do with the lawsuit against his company by [[Janysa Aehan]].

He served his fifteen years in the turian military with distinction and rose in the ranks until his ambitions took him to leave Palaven and start a company on Illium to capitalize on his service. It is an unusual attitude for a turian, but it is not non-existent.

Currently, he has been arrested and will be held until the trial.
