Vynira Tioran is a young matriarch that is part of a successful software company on Illium. She's [[Ilyna T'Rea]]'s father and [[Ehanis Tioran]]'s mother. She has not made a name for herself in politics, and is thus an unknown to the public at large, even on Illium.

This asari would only pass as a matron if the other party was trying to flatter her. She's of pale sky-blue skin with darker almost gray crests. She is most often seen is modest intricate attires when out in the open, while preferring simpler wear when there's work to be done.

She was a relatively young matron when Ilyna was born, and she was unphased by the stigma of asari paternity. She was often there for her daughter, even if her work wasn't the most compatible with raising a family. Things took a turn for the worse when the condition was revealed, something she did not know about before it was medically confirmed when Ilyna was in her fourties. She thought it was for the best if the authorities took care of her, but Eriana refused to. This shattered Vynira and Eriana's marriage without hope for mending. This disagreement was not known to her daughter, but she suspected that it played a role in their divorce.

Vynira did not lose contact with her daughter, and she was invited to visit as often as she'd like to. She regrets her past disagreement. Ilyna did so often, and she was there for most of Ehanis' upbringing.

Over half a century ago, Vynira took her family with her to Illium. This caused a split in the family as contact from asari space dwindled over the years. It took fifty years before Vynira contacted Ilyna after having heard about her mission on [[The Fall of The Evening Star|The Evening Star]], and she worked to get back in touch with her daughter. That worked, and Ilyna stayed with her for a while during her time on Illium.

While all other combat skills like endurance and weapons have withered past the point of usefulness, her biotics are still nothing to scoff at.
