New Longhai was the only settlement on the remote world of[[Di Yu IV]] aside from [[Father Marchal]]'s [[compound]]. It was a small settlement centered around the lightning spire that powered the town and the atmospheric processors that were slowly terraforming the planet to be more habitable. Most of the inhabitants hailed from the [[Chinese People's Federation]], and as one might imagine from a colony on the edge of the galaxy, most of them were of a reclusive disposition. After [[Redrock]] came to [[Di Yu IV]] in 2185, assaulting the cult compound, the town was overrun by [[Proto-Adjutant|proto-adjutants unleashed during the attack. Redrock were able to rescue a handful of locals on their way out, but the survivors numbered in the single digits. The overrun remnants of the settlement was later obliterated via orbital bombardment from a [[Cerberus]] cruiser, but not before the [[MSV Good Things Come]] made a fateful visit to the town.
