The Aitian Swamp Crab is a nearly human-sized crustacean native to several parts of Aite.
Physical Attributes
Aitian Swamp Crabs are large crabs that have adapted for life on land. Their hard shells protect them from most predators, but are insufficient to stop firearms. This, combined with their relatively docile nature and tasty meat make them popular targets for hunters.
Behavior
Aitian Swamp Crabs tend to be fairly slow, docile creatures, but may attempt displays of intimidation if threatened. Their more common response to threats is, however, to curl into a ball. They make their home in swamps or near bodies of water, as although they have adapted to live their whole lives on land, they need water to reproduce.
