Farik Oritern is the CEO of a security consultancy working in and around Nos Astra on Illium. He has not been seen much in recent months in public without a clear business purpose, which could have something to do with the lawsuit against his company by Janysa Aehan.
He served his fifteen years in the turian military with distinction and rose in the ranks until his ambitions took him to leave Palaven and start a company on Illium to capitalize on his service. It is an unusual attitude for a turian, but it is not non-existent.
Currently, he has been arrested and will be held until the trial.
