Despite this, it was the site of a small, independent human colony, New Longhai. The planet also housed a secluded cult, the Children of the Revelator. Said cult worshipped a mysterious alien artifact that was found by local colonists in a long-abandoned asari research outpost.
Both the colony and the cult were wiped out after a Redrock team assaulted the cultist compound, unleashing an alien contagion on the colony, which was subsequently wiped out by Cerberus via orbital bombardment.
