Biotic Suppressant

A biotic suppressant is a drug that reduces or neutralizes the ability of a biotic individual to generate mass effect fields. They are commonly administered to detained biotics as a means of control, but are also sometimes taken voluntarily by biotics that struggle to control their abilities. Long-term use of certain biotic suppressants can cause permanent damage to an individual's biotic capability.

Suppressants

• Omega-Enkaphalin - A powerful biotic suppressant secretly developed by Cerberus in 2169 CE as a part of Project Trapdoor. Illegal but has seen spread through black market since. Commonly referred to as O-E. Can be administered via injections or dissoluble capsules.

• Trazion - Common commercial biotic inhibitor used by individuals with biotic control issues. Usually taken in pill form.

• Hadrigen - Used by asari law enforcement. Usually administered via injection.
