She is a pale middle-aged woman with short pitch-black hair, and the decades of hard work are showing despite her best efforts to take care of herself. She is often seen in a light hardsuit when with the militia, and simple clothes when not.

She is a skilled gunship pilot that has experience with a lot of different standard military hardware from back on Earth and with the Alliance.
Weapons
Marianne could hold her own with a pistol or submachine gun, which is what she carries when with the militia.
