The Miner's Respite is an asari-owned bar, restaurant and inn located in a convenient location at the north end of the main commercial zone of Freedom Falls, with a residential area north of it. It's also easy to find for new arrivals fresh off of the spaceport.

Anyone entering would immediately spot the bar on the wall opposite them (and slightly to the left), going for most of the wall's length; several stools along the width of it. Behind the bar are several shelves of bottles, and four holographic screens showing the menu, and of course, a varying amount of bartenders. A screen showing some of Aite's quality programming is also available. The lighting here is rather dim (except during daylight), the room only lit by several fake chandeliers on the ceiling, the few above the bar counter adjusted slightly brighter.

There are booths below the windows along all three other walls. All of them have enough space for 3 people on each side of the table. There is one corner booth to their left as they enter and across the room. It has enough seats for eight people, maybe more if they're disregarding personal space. There are also a few round tables in the center of the room, with four chairs around each, but people seem to almost exclusively use the booths unless the place is severely crowded enough for them to have to.

The second floor consists of a corridor going around the communal kitchen with rooms along the outer side of it. While each room has their own mini-fridge, they'd have to use the kitchen to prepare any food that requires heating or an adequate amount of counter space. It's mostly long-term guests that make use of this, while those staying for a day or two tend to go downstairs or out into town for food.

A room is 200 credits a night or 900 for five nights (300, 1,350 for the larger ones; 400, 1,800 for the largest ones), which is fairly competitive with the other options in town. The bar downstairs has slightly above average prices for meals, but the drinks are as one would expect, from beers as low as 7 per pint to Serrice Ice costing 120 credits for a half a pint. The familiar human 'pint' unit has been kept even through the multiple changes of ownership.

The security is provided by Redrock Agency, who sometimes switches up which person to send. While only one guard is assigned to the Respite, they're known to deliver more when an assault actually happen.
